The NRTC would like to welcome Karma Marshall as our new Outreach and Training Coordinator for the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) grant! She joins the team with many years of experience in the vocational rehabilitation (VR) field. Karma is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Vision Specialist program graduate who has worked as a rehabilitation counselor and administrator for the South Carolina Commission for the Blind since 2015. Karma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling – both from The University of South Carolina. 

She will utilize her skills to develop and provide training and technical assistance to the NRTC’s stakeholders, including VR agency staff, employers, service providers, and individuals with blindness and low vision and their families. She will also assist with the Vision Specialist program.
