Hosted virtually, the AVRT conference brings together rehabilitation experts to share ideas, information, professional practices, and experiences. This year's conference was designed to encourage participants to expand their teaching techniques and resources. Over the course of three days, participants were able to hear from professionals in the field on mental and physical health of individuals with low vision, braille literacy, assistive technology advancements, and more.

Farrow was one of the presenters for the “Moving Toward Reliability in VRT Assessment” session. This presentation included information about understanding VRT services and the methods and adaptive techniques for communicating and working with a VRT. Farrow was honored to be a presenter for this year’s conference and said other attendees seemed “engaged and interested in the topics presented.”
