OIB-TAC Team Presents at Envision Conference
Members of the OIB-TAC: Older Individuals who are Blind Technical Assistance Center team to attend and present at the 12th Annual Envision Conference in Glendale, AZ. The multidisciplinary conference is dedicated to low vision and vision impairment rehabilitation and research. This premier international conference gives professionals for all aspects of eye health care – from medical practitioners to rehabilitation specialists – the opportunity to share innovations in research, practice, and technology.
Adele Crudden, BJ LeJeune, and Kendra Farrow will present “Aging with Vision Loss: Services, Collaborations, and Life Changes” on Friday, July 28, at 7:30 a.m. The presentation will include information from the rehabilitation perspective, such as working with the older blind, transportation, and agency and program collaborations. BJ will also provide information and updates about the OIB-TAC training and technical assistance activities, as part of a grant funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration under the U.S. Department of Education.
