Mississippi Statewide Special Education Directors

Jackson Convention Center

On Wednesday, September 11th, NRTC Training Supervisor B.J. LeJeune, Toni Hollingsworth, Director of the Mississippi Deaf-Blind Project, and Kim Esco-Collins, Director of the Mississippi Instructional Materials Center will be presenting at the Mississippi Statewide Special Education Directors' meeting in Jackson, MS. They will address the educational needs of students with visual impairments and students with multiple disabilities, including deafblindness. They will also discuss the Mississippi Braille Bill, the procedures for obtaining accessible textbooks and materials, and the shortage of qualified teachers.
