Advisory Council Meets at the NRTC
The NRTC recently welcomed its Advisory Council to Mississippi State’s campus for its biennial meeting. The Council is composed of experts in various areas of the blindness and low vision field and is made up of 10 current members and 3 ex-officio members. The purpose of the Council is to advise, provide feedback, and lend support to NRTC research and training staff on the Center’s RRTC grant. During the Council’s two-day visit to campus, they participated in several group discussions and breakout sessions with NRTC staff to discuss the progress and direction of the Center’s NIDRR-funded research, training, and technical assistance. Their insights and contributions are greatly appreciated!
