NRTC Anne Sullivan Macy Scholar, Dr. Li Zhou, has recently accepted a position at the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) as a Core-Curriculum Product Development Project Leader II. In his new role, Dr. Zhou will be facilitating the development of assistive technology devices to be utilized by students with visual impairments in core-curriculum areas. Since joining the NRTC staff last year, Dr. Zhou has assisted with many of the Center’s research projects, co-authored a publication on employer perceptions toward people who are blind or visually impaired, and taught several classes for the College of Education. We wish Dr. Zhou continued success at APH!
