MSU-RRTC Training Presentation at Carroll Center

MSU-RRTC research and training associate Alberta L. Orr (pictured here) recently presented sessions titled, "Working with Older People who are Depressed or Unmotivated" and "Self-Advocacy Skills Training for Older People who are Visually Impaired" during a full-day training sponsored by the Bridge Program, the Title VII Chapter 2 program in Massachusetts. MSU-RRTC training coordinator B. J. LeJeune facilitated small group brainstorming sessions and role plays among the participants. The training, which was attended by rehabilitation teachers and social workers on staff at the Massachusetts State Commission for the Blind, was hosted on October 18th at the Carroll Center for the Blind in Newton, Massachusetts.
