Celebrating New Staff Arrival

Alberta (Ali) L. Orr, as MSU-RRTC's new Research/Training Associate, will work closely with our training coordinator, B. J. LeJeune, and other center staff on both training and research activities. Ali brings with her extensive experience in aging and vision loss, which she will apply to the RRTC’s independent living program assessment projects. Her career has included 20 years at American Foundation for the Blind’s National Aging Program, considerable experience teaching courses on aging and vision loss topics, and authorship of numerous books, book chapters, and articles. Ali is on the Board of Directors of AERBVI and has a federal appointment to the National Eye Institute’s National Advisory Eye Council. She is also a member of the World Blind Union Elderly Committee. Welcome, Ali!
