PAR Team


Participatory Action Research (PAR) Team:  The PAR Team is composed of representatives from different consumer organizations.  Their purpose is to give consumer input into the research processes and assure that consumer issues are addressed in an appropriate manner in the research.  The members of the PAR Team are:

  • Harry Anderson, American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB)

  • Rocky Stone, Self-Help for the Hard of Hearing (SHHH)

  • Tom Miller, Blinded Veterans Association (BVA)

  • Marsha Finisdore, Self -Help for the Hard of Hearing (SHHH)

  • McArthur Jarrett, National Federation of the Blind (NFB)

  • Patti Sarchi, American Council of the Blind (ACB)

  • Opening, National Association of the Deaf (NAD)
