MSU-RTC Training Coordinator Visits Local High School
In January, MSU-RTC Training Coordinator B.J. LeJeune spoke to juniors and seniors attending "Health Related Professions," a class taught by Vanessa Wilson, RN, at Starkville High School Career Center. LeJeune reports: "My purpose was to explain the variety of careers working with people who are blind or have low vision and make them aware of the needs we have here in Mississippi. In addition, I also gave them basic information that might encourage positive interactions with people who they serve who have visual impairments."
